Creative Stress Management

I graduated from  Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing and went to work at the Connecticut Mental Health  Center in New Haven. Later, I earned my Bachelor's Degree at Southern Connecticut State University and my Master's Degree from Yale University School of Nursing.

Most of my career has been in the public sector, but I have also worked in private hospitals and clinics as well. 

I have had a private practice for over 20-years.

Currently I consult to a home care agency, and lecture at a local college in the nursing program.

I am board certified by The American Nurses Credentialing Center and I am a member of Lotus, The Educational Center for Integretative Healing and Wellness;  The Amercan Psychiatric Nurses Association; EMDR International Association, and Greenwoods Counseling Services, Inc.

 I love my work because I see that I am able to make a difference in the lives of my patients.

Choosing a Therapist

Choosing a therapist requires some research. Therapists, like everyone else, vary. To succeed, you need to find someone you feel comfortable with and can trust.

Some people get lucky and stick with the first one they meet. Others need to shop around for the best fit. That's OK. Think about how hard it is to find the right hair stylist!

So, if you are struggling and you need someone to talk to, get going. Help is there. Take a chance - it might lead to something good.
